Villa General Belgrano
Located between the Sierras Chicas and Sierras Grandes, this city has the peculiarity of being one of the most beautiful of the Valle de Calamuchita area.

Where to go:
Villa General Belgrano is ideal for trekking or horseback riding. The most attractive places to go are the Cerro Mirador and the Pico Alemán, besides taking a walk near the streams.
The Bosque Encantado de don Otto is an interesting place to visit, with a special attraction for children, a crystalline stream runs through the wooded property.
After a 5 kilometers horse ride, you can also visit the Cristo Grande, a place where hundreds of parishioners come in pilgrimage during the Holy Week.
Nearby you can visit raspberry farms, where sweets, liquors and goat’s cheese are produced.
The river Los Reartes is a visual attraction, with its crystalline waters and dense forests.
The Feria Artesanal from Villa General Belgrano is the place where to buy, cowbells, paintings, local sweets and all the Córdoba typical items.

La Cumbrecita: The route chosen by thousands of tourists, only 38 kilometers from the city, is a heavenly place for resting and self-proclaimed the first pedestrian town in the country. With the European style buildings and the local calmness, you can walk through the charming streets, the spa and the landscapes that can be seen from the Cerro Wank, with one of the best views of the valley.
Brewery: There are many places not to be missed while in Villa General Belgrano, such as the genuine brewery, where the Brunnen beer is produced using traditional methods, here they explain and teach the secrets in the making of the drink. Another option is to visit the Viejo Munich brewery, a traditional one too.
Chocolate Factories: For those who prefer sweets, the Capilla Vieja chocolate factory, is a real delight for your palate.
In addition, during the month of July, the Fiesta del Chocolate from Villa General Belgrano takes place, where you can taste a wide range of forms of the exquisite alpine delicacy.
How to get there:
Villa General Belgrano is 750 kilometers away from Buenos Aires. You can get there driving or flying to the city of Córdoba and then by highway until you reach the villa, it is an hour and a half journey.
By Plane: Weekly there are many flights to Córdoba Capital, flying Lan or Aerolíneas Argentinas, the flight takes an hour and a half. From the airport you can only reach the villa by highway.
By Car: Departing from Buenos Aires take the Ruta Nacional Nº9 and then join the rutas Nº20 y Nº36. Then take the Ruta Provincial Nº45 and Nº5 down to Villa General Belgrano.
By Bus: There are some bus lines to reach the city, such as: Chevallier, La Victoria, Sierras Cordobesas, Valle de Calamuchita, among others.
