Villa Paranacito
The city of Villa Paranacito is located in the delta of Entre Rios, only 179 km from Buenos Aires. As it is in the middle of the delta, it has impressive landscapes of rivers and exuberant vegetation as well as the natural sounds of the region that contrast any busy city. The place is borderd by a coast with weeping willows with branches that go down to the water and it gives it the appearance of a jungle, with other types of vegetation as well.
You can get to Villa Paranacito from Buenos Aires by taking Route 12 after crossing the bridge of Zarate-Brazo Largo into the province of Entre Rios. After going on up to Km 151 you have to take an unpaved road that leads to Villa Paranacito directly.
This is one of the favourite places to go fishing for many people due to its proximity to the Province of Buenos Aires and its Capital, where they can find species such as Dorados, Surubis, Pejerreys, White and Yellow Catfish, Sabalos, Tarariras and Patis, among others. You also have the chance to rent a boat to go fishing, also with guides who know the most interesting places. There are endless rivers and streams slithering all over the different islands, which makes it great for those who like nautical sports and go on kayaks, cannoes, waterskiing, boats, yachts, jetskis or catamarans.
And if what you are looking for is to relax and enjoy yourself you can go on excursions in boats, where you can take outstanding and exotic pictures among the islands. Villa Paranacito also offers you the possibility to go horseback riding around the area, and to take short flights over the delta.
