Ensure a comfortable and secure stay
For those after the latest fashion and design trends, places where to stay are Palermo - a mixture of boiling in artists, gastronomy, fashion and exoticism - Palermo Viejo and Palermo Soho - so-called for the many creators living there - and Palermo Hollywood for its great TV studios, producing companies and radio stations concentration. The meeting point, also a good starting point for tourists, is Julio Cortazar Square, locally known as Plaza Serrano. It offers to all, different types of art craft during its fair, and is surrounded by some of the most well-known pubs of the area such as El Taller, Cronico and Tazz. From here, the best is to wander around amongst streets sellers, shops defying all senses and narrow streets like Russel, Santa Rosa and Soria, which hide mansions, cafes and restaurants with international, ethnic or auteur cuisine.
More traditional, we have a visit to the zoo, the botanical Garden, and the huge green spaces of the Palermo forest.
In these informal and fun neighbourhoods, Buenos Aires hostels offers you the Hostel Suites Palermo (Charcas Street) and the Tango BackPackers (Paraguay Street), 2 Hostels of Hostelling International Argentina network, built in old renovated houses.
The Tango Backpackers Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, breakfast, Internet and Wi-Fi, bed linen, TV and DVD, private lockers, laundry service and bar with happy hour.
