Zonda Hostel
Zonda Hostel offers the most varied adventure tourism excursions, including trekking in the Andes foothills, rock climbing on natural lists and rafting on the incomparable setting of San Juan River, one of the best in the region for this activity. We also organize mountain bike tours through the excellent tracks of the area and wind car in the Pampa del Leoncito.
On the other hand, it is possible to do the now traditional wine circuit, a guided visit to the main wineries in the area with wine tasting included, where the participants will be able to find out about the local wine production process.
Our proposal would not be complete if we did not offer the tour to the world known Ischigualasto Park, which is our main and best known tourist attraction and the favorite among the visitors.
What to do in San Juan San Juan is famous for its almost unexplored mountains and natural landscape, being the ideal environment for adventure tourism activities. It is also famous for its vineyards and its grape and wine-growing tradition. You can make daily visits to important wineries and delicious wines tasting in the area. The town has several museums of unique importance, such as Natural Science Museum, where the dinosaurs fossils found in Ischigualasto are kept, the most ancient found so far. You can also take part in cultural activities of great interest, such as folk festivals and symphonic concerts in the wonderful hall in town. At night, the travelers can also enjoy a great number of bars, pubs and restaurants that provide a good service and affordable prices. |
