Backpacker's Hostel
Since its opening in February 1992, the Backpacker´s Home Salta Hostel is characterized by the warmth of its staff and its location, a base from where travelers can move around to visit the Argentine Northwestern region. Sharing mate among friends and enjoying Folk music nights and asados for guests is a hallmark in this Salta hostel of casual and fun atmosphere. Backpackers staying in the other hostels, like the City Hostel and the Soul Hostel are also invited to join in for good drinks at the bar, music and group activities.
Like most hostels of Hostelling International, the Backpacker’s Home Salta Hostel offers shared and double rooms. It also has a beautiful swimming pool.
The city of Salta is attractive for its architecture, its landscape and the circuits and excursions you can start from here to see all the province: the nearest sites, like San Lorenzo and La Caldera, are natural havens for both tourists and locals; or those that are farther away, like the Calchaquies Valleys, of magical rock shapes, or the Puna, with villages like San Antonio de los Cobres.
The youth hostel invites guests to plunge into the local customs, traditions and tastes, which mix the indigenous and the Spanish cultures. |
